CEMEX supports efforts for social integration of the handicapped in Mexico

As part of its efforts to support the handicapped, CEMEX in Mexico has joined forces with Unidos lo lograremos, (Together we can do it) to organize activities and workshops in the communities around the company’s operations aimed at helping the handicapped people become more integrated with society.


CEMEX supports handicapped’s social integration in Mexico

The agreement establishes that CEMEX employees will learn and apply Unido’s social integration model in the communities near their workplace. With this, CEMEX volunteers will organize recreational activities that will have the participation of handicapped people and the organizers and their families, in order to foster further community integration.

In addition to these activities, members of the community will be invited to assist to workshops and seminaries for awareness about the handicapped and their needs. The activities will be coordinated by CEMEX employees who will receive training from Unidos personnel in order to guarantee the proper use of their method.
