CEMEX participates in Estonian construction expo, ESTBUILD 2011 for first time

Date published: May 4, 2011

For the past three years, CEMEX in Latvia has participated in the local construction exhibition Maja I. Having recently opened a new cement plant in Brocēni, thus tripling the production capacity and increasing its presence in the export market, the company decided to participate in a similar event in the neighboring country of Estonia, ESTBUILD 2011.

From April 6 to 9, ESTBUILD 2011 gathered approximately 30,000 visitors interested in the construction and building materials industry. CEMEX hosted a stand of 25 m2, where it informed the visitors about the company operations in Latvia, production of cement at the new cement plant in Brocēni, and the products that it offers to the Estonian market — both bulk and bagged cement.

Latvian Ambassador to Estonia Kārlis Eihenbaums visited the stand and spoke with CEMEX representatives. The participation at the event was a success and the company plans to return to ESTBUILD in 2012.

CEMEX has a strong presence in building and construction events throughout the world in order to be closer to its customers and suppliers and to promote the use of innovative and sustainable construction and building materials.
